Value Added Assessments
"Value Added Assessments" is an affective program for your company to measure your users' UGS® product knowledge and gain perspective of their overall strengths and weaknesses. The program utilizes the UGS Learning Advantage (an Internet based Learning Management System), which enables users from multiple locations to take assessments at a convenient time and location. The deliverable is a report, which contains both aggregate charts as well as individual learning plans. Select the following link to view a sample report (select here).
How the process works
You send UGS Education Services a list of employees (users) who will be assessed. UGS Education then defines user accounts and sends them an email notification describing the program and instructions on how to take the assessment(s).
- Users are given a cutoff date to complete assessment(s)
- During the assessment period, UGS Education Services sends your representative periodic updates of test status.
- After the cutoff date, UGS Education Services compiles results and documents them in a report.
- UGS Education Services presents you with the report.
The program currently covers five product lines, which includes 36 individual assessments. (View assessment topics). Each assessment consists of sub-assessments. Test questions consist of Multiple Choice and Yes/No formats. A user must complete all sub-assessments to receive an assessment score. The assessment score is based on points accumulated from each sub-assessment. Users receive an "Incomplete" if any sub-assessment is not scored. Users receive "No Attempt" if none of the sub-assessments are scored.
