One is superior manufacturing data management technologies. UGS has a proven manufacturing data management system that takes our design data management technology, including change management, configuration management for manufacturing, effectivity and a common engineering workflow and applies it to a solution that fits the manufacturing community's needs. This is a key benefit for most manufacturing engineering groups that had little choice until UGS provided it.

With OMB, customers can manage manufacturing data at an enterprise level under configuration control, opening new opportunities to reduce costs through better time management, improved quality and reduced waste. This is enabled with the UGS Teamcenter solution or with other PLM solutions.
Both UGS and Tecnomatix have been known for our commitment to helping our customers succeed, and our value in that respect is multidimensional.
