Training solutions are available for I-deas to NX Version Up customers (cont.)

To prepare end users to successfully operate in the Teamcenter Engineering data management environment, UGS has the following training course available:

  • NX Manager I-deas for Users – this 2-day instructor-led course introduces I-deas users to the NX Manager I-deas interface and to the concepts and procedures for working in the Teamcenter Engineering CAD environment to store and manage their data.

Note: This course is not intended for those involved in the release process or in product structure definition. Those users should attend Teamcenter Engineering Product Data Management training.

For customers that are ready to transition to Unigraphics NX 2, the following course is immediately available. The pacing and topics of this course have been carefully planned specifically for the existing I-deas user. The needs and requirements of the I-deas user have been reviewed with existing I-deas customers and fine-tuned by UGS I-deas experts.

  • I-deas to NX Version Up – this 5-day instructor-led course serves as the introduction to Unigraphics NX for the existing I-deas user, exploiting their existing knowledge of feature-based parametric modeling concepts so that they can quickly be productive. This course covers modeling, assemblies, and the basic elements of drafting, all operating in an NX Manager environment.

Upon completion of this course, I-deas users will have the ability to apply advanced concepts and techniques to create and modify parts, assemblies, and products in Unigraphics NX, leveraging their valuable I-deas experience.
